Cost forecast of PMP (BAC, EAC, etc)

Concept ：

Completion budget （BAC,Budget at Completion）： The sum of all budgets established for the work to be performed .

Completion estimate （EAC,Estimate at Completion）： The expected total cost of completing all the work , Equal to the actual cost up to now plus the estimated completion .

The completion of the project needs to be estimated （ETC,Estimate to Completion）： Estimated cost of completing all remaining project work .

The formula ：

1.BAT = PV（ The time point of a project PV）;

2.ETC、EAC There are two ways to calculate ：

• （ Adjustment deviation ） be based on Atypical Calculation of deviation ETC, If the current deviation is considered atypical , And when the project team expects that this similar deviation will not occur in the future , This method is often used .
  ETC = BAT - EV, here EAT = BAC - CV

• （ Do not adjust the deviation ） be based on A typical Calculation of deviation ETC, If the current deviation is regarded as a typical deviation that can represent the future deviation , This can be done .
  ETC = ( BAT - EV ) / CPI, here ** EAT = BAV / CPI**
