Serial port missing in Ni Max in LabVIEW

LabVIEW in NI MAX Missing serial port in

• stay NI MAX in , Serial ports in devices and interfaces are unavailable or missing , Or you cannot create a new serial port .

• When open MAX when , Unable to see the serial number of the computer COM port .

• I saw the serial port on this computer before , But after the operating system is updated , I can't see any more .

• Cannot be in LabVIEW Select serial port as VISA resources .

• NI MAX Missing serial device in .

Solution

This problem is usually due to NI-VISA Caused by incorrect driver installation .

You must install NI-VISA4.1 Or later to solve this problem

To check if you have installed NI-VISA, Please open the NI MAX , an Software( Software ) tab , Then check that the NI-VISA Is it part of the installed software .
