The Sea of Books

Often bitter time is short ,
A sea of books spreads from west to East .
Have no intention of pursuing fame and fortune ,
The dust and toil have gone without a trace .

O time flies away without rest!
In the books I go east and west.
If I’m aloof from fame and gain,
How can my dusty care remain!

Book Forest

Don't tell me that time is short ,
The Book Forest means leisure .
Nominal external affairs ,
A smile scorns the world .

Time is short I don’t want to say,
Carefree in th’ book forest I stay.
Cheap fame’s the external affair,
The mundane world I will not care.
