How to specify the number of cycles in JSTL- How to loop over something a specified number of times in JSTL?

problem ：

I need a while loop within JSTL. I need to JSTL Use in while loop .I cannot seem to find how to loop over something a specified number of times. I can't seem to find out how to loop the content of the specified number of times .Any ideas how I can accomplish this? Do I have any ideas to do this ？

I am thinking I could use a forEach but I do not really care to loop over a collection. I think I can use forEach But I really don't care about traversing collections .
