DSPE-PEG-NHS is a nano-active phospholipid-PEG conjugate that can react with primary amine groups.DSPE (1,2-distearoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine) is an 18-carbon phospholipid that is highly hydrophobic.On the other hand, the PEG backbone has good hydrophilicity and water solubility.Another PEG-terminated succinimidyl ester (NHS) reacts efficiently with primary amine groups at pH 8–10.Therefore, NHS-PEG-DSPE can be easily incorporated into liposomes and other nanoparticles through the reaction of NHS with amines.DSPE-PEG-NHS is one of the most commonly used reactive phospholipids for binding antibodies, proteins, peptides or other matrices to the surface of liposomes and other lipid PEG nanoparticles.We have developed a range of chemically reactive phospholipid PEG products with high purity, various molecular weights and excellent chemical reactivity.These lipid PEG conjugates exhibit excellent amphiphilicity and offer advantages for small and macromolecule modification, formulation and delivery.
