Building a sylixos environment in VMWare

1、 Make x86 platform U Disk boot disk

         For detailed steps, see 《RealEvo-IDE User manual 》 Chapter viii. . Insert after successful production U disc .

2、 establish VMware Virtual machine devices

         open VMware（ The version used here is 15.5.6）, Click on “ Create a new virtual machine ”, Follow the steps below to create a virtual machine ：

         Click Finish to create the virtual machine device

3、 Configure virtual machines

         Insert U Disk boot disk , Click on “ Edit virtual machine settings ”, First change the memory to 1 G. Then add 100M The virtual hard disk is used to store the system image ：

         Click Finish to create , Then click Add to create a physical hard disk partition , Connect to U disc ：

         Choose here U disc , Usually in the last few , After the creation is successful, you can judge whether the selection is correct according to the size ：

4、 Start virtual machine

         Click OK to create the virtual machine , Use ” Enter firmware when power on “ Start the virtual machine

         Modify the startup item to U Disk start , Start and enter U On the plate SylixOS

         stay U The newly added 100M The virtual hard disk is formatted as FAT32, And make grub, Copy U The three image files on the disk are on this partition ：

         Format the original large virtual hard disk as TPSFS Format is used as the primary file system

         Shut down the virtual machine , Delete virtual machine's U Disk partition

         Again using ” Enter firmware when power on “ Start the virtual machine , take 100M Partition as the first boot item

         Just restart , Notice that two virtual hard disks are created here , One as a startup disk , One as a file system disk . Not used. Usually, a storage device is divided into 2 The conventional practice of the district . This is because if a virtual hard disk is divided into two zones , The system cannot be booted normally , The reason is unknown .
