Running yum reports Error: Cannot retrieve metalink for reposit




Today I installed an epel extension for Centos through rpm -UvhAfter executing yum, an error will be reported:


Error: Cannot retrieve metalink for repository: epel. Please verify its path and try again


I checked it online and solved itThe method is to edit /etc/yum.repos.d/epel.repo, and comment out the basic recovery and mirror address


#baseurl
mirrorlist


Change it to


baseurl
#mirrorlist


This is a must, remember to clean it up:
[[email protected] yum.repos.d]# yum clean all
