Tutor responsibilities

• Teach students how to be part of the community , Follow community norms , Use the community's code management platform 、 Common communication tools in the community （ email 、IRC、 Mailing lists, etc ） And other tools .

• During project development , Keep regular communication with students , Keep track of students' development progress , It is recommended to ensure communication at least once or twice a week , The professional level and age of the students should be taken into account , Keep communicating friendly and patiently , Encourage students to develop independently and actively .

• Communicate actively and effectively with students , Let students think independently about solutions by asking questions , Avoid telling students the answer directly , Guide students through directional guidance .

• Tutors cannot guide students to develop through code , It can not help students debug the project . The realization of the project should be completed by the students themselves . Mentors can focus on projects , Instruct students to make plans 、 Provide links to relevant recommended documents 、 Teach students how to participate in the community 、 Provide directional suggestions for improvement of the implementation scheme .

• Promote students' contributions to be accepted by the community .

Student responsibilities

• Actively connect with your mentor , Make a project development plan ;

• Refer to related materials , Warm up for formal development ;

• Regularly communicate the project progress with the tutor , Make sure the project goes smoothly ;

• Document the development process , Project closure output development documents .

• With PR Submit the project results to the designated warehouse

Closing criteria

• The projects undertaken by students need to be PR Submit to the open source community repository where the project is located and complete the merger ;

• Evaluate whether the project output meets the objectives and requirements initially set by the project ;

• A list of contributions submitted to the community ;

• Evaluate the operation of project output ;

• Completeness of project related documents ;

• Other areas that the community and mentors feel need to be assessed .
