Envi SHP to ROI and mask the grid

1. Open the grid data to be cut

classic Open grid data ,File / Open Image File, Select grid data ,Load Band.

2. open shp file

classic / vector / Open Vector, Select file type shapefile(*.shp) , Select vector file .shp, open shp file .

3. preservation EVF file

eject Import Vector Files Parameters Window , stay Enter Output Filename[.evf] Lower setup evf The output path and file name of the file QQ.evf. Click on OK.

stay Available Vectors List Select the opened vector file , choice Load Selected Button .

Choose... Here Display #1, Click on OK.

eject #1 Vector Parameters :Cursor Query window （ Black background , There are vector lines ）.
Select vector file , Click on Apply. here , stay #1 Scroll The vector file can be seen in the window （ white ） Superimposed on the grid .

4. preservation roi file

stay Available Vectors List window , Click on file choice Export Layers to Roi….
eject Select Data File to Associate with new ROIs window , Select the grid data to be extracted , Click on OK.

eject Export EVF Layers to ROI window , choice Convert all records of an EVF layer to one ROI…. Click on OK.

And then in #1 scroll A white vector area appears in the window .
stay scroll Right click the mouse in the window , Click on ROI Tool…, open #1 ROI Tool window .


choice “EVF：layer：QQ.shp”, Click on the top left corner File / Save ROIs…


Can be shp The file is saved as roi file .MCD12Q1.A2001_Type1_class.roi

5. New mask

stay ENVI 5.3 Open the raster data that needs to be masked .
open Toolbox / Raster Management / Masking / Build mask
stay Build Mask Input File Select the grid data that needs mask .
In the pop-up Mask Definition Click... Under the window Options / Import ROIs…

Select the previously generated roi, Click on OK.

Set the output path and file name MCD12Q1.A2001_Type1_class_roimask.dat

6. Apply mask

stay ENVI 5.3 Open in Toolbox / Raster Management / Masking / Apply mask
stay Apply Mask Input File Select the file to mask .

Click on Spatial Subset, eject Select Spatial Subset window , Click on Subset Using Under the File, Select the target grid file , Such as temp_2001, This defines the scope . Click on OK.
stay Select Spatial Subset Window click OK.

Click on Select Mask Band, Select the... Generated in the previous step MCD12Q1.A2001_Type1_class_roimask.dat Of documents Mask Band. Click on OK.

Apply Mask Input File Window click OK.

Set the output path and file name , Click on OK, Generate MCD12Q1.A2001_Type1_class_QQ.dat, Mask extraction is complete .
What the hell? , The row and column numbers of the output file have increased 1, And temp_2001 atypism .
So shuffle again , from 6. Apply mask to start changing .
open temp_2001 file ,Layer Manager Middle right click the file name , Click on View Metadata, open View Metadata:temp_2001 window , Click on the left side of the Extents, View scope , Record . And then in Spatial Subset Next click Subset Using Under the Map, Input and temp_2001 Of Extents Same Upper Left and Lower Right Coordinate, This defines the scope . Click on OK. I'm drunk , The row and column numbers of output results increase 2.

Shuffle again , from 6. Apply mask to start changing . stay Spatial Subset Next click Subset Using Under the ROI/EVF, Enter the previous ROI, The row and column number of the output result is reduced 10-50.

It's broken , Why not be obedient temp_2001 The same ?
