Openmv (II) -- ide installation and firmware download

1. IDE install

OpenMV Have a unique IDE, And it can be used across platforms , Support Win, Mac OS, Linux as well as Raspian.OpenMV IDE You can download it from the official website ： Download address , The lower interface is shown in the figure 1 Shown , You can download different versions according to your needs .

2. Firmware download

2.1 DFuSe install

OpenMV-H7 The board has its own firmware , But if we want to update the firmware or download the board we make OpenMV What should the firmware do ？ We use DFU+OpenMV IDE Combined burning method ,DFU The advantage of burning is that you don't need ST-LINK Emulator , Just install DFuSe Software will do ( You can download it from Baidu , You can also leave comments in your email to get ).DFU After the software is installed, it is equivalent to the driver required by the computer . Download good DFuSe The software opens as shown in the figure 3 Shown .

2.2 Firmware download

Firmware download requires the following steps ：

• Will chip's BOOT Connect to 3.3V（ You can jump hat , Consider this when designing your own board ）, Give Way STM32H743 Get into DFU Burn mode

• Pass the board through USB Connecting to a computer , And press rst key , We can find out ,DFuSe The chip has been identified ：
  

• Click on choose( Dexter ), choice BootLoader.dfu The firmware （ Zero points download ）, And then click upgrade Burn , After burning, see the following figure ：
  

• Keep the board connected to the computer , open OpenMV IDE, Click the connection pattern in the lower left corner
  

• This will show “ Can't find OpenMV Cams!” We click OK

• Then a question will appear OpenMV Cam Whether the bricks have changed , Click on Yes

• Then we choose the development board type , OpenMV4 choice “OpenMV Cam H7”

• Then you will be asked whether to erase the file system , Click on Yes

• Then the following interface appears , At this time, we will boot And GND Connect , Then in the RST key （ Replant USB It's OK ）
  

• It will be displayed at the end “ Erasing ” And “ Programming ”. We'll just wait for it .

• Finally, it pops up U Disk character , It means that we have downloaded the firmware successfully ：
