The working principle of electromagnetic relay is : When the coil is energized , The iron core is magnetized to produce enough electromagnetic force , Suck the armature and drive the reed , Make the moving contact and the static contact close or separate , That is, the originally closed contact is disconnected , The original open contact is closed ; When the coil is de energized , Electromagnetic suction disappears , The armature returns to its original position , The moving contact and the static contact return to the original closed or separated state . When applied, just connect the circuit to be controlled to the contact , The relay can be used to achieve the purpose of control .

The excellent relay mode of electromagnetic relay generally belongs to physical contact mode , Therefore, the observation conditions for relay action in use are generally good , However, the process from electromagnetic generation to adsorption switching on requires a certain amount of time , It is not applicable to working conditions with high requirements for time accuracy .
