Google Earth Based Geoscience Video Library is transforming to Server Based. The Name of the Project will be later change to
(Geoscience Video Library) VideoEarthStory
GEGVL: Google Earth Based Geoscience Video Library
GEGVL includes place- & events- based geoscience educational videos which have been made or reviewed by geoscientists or/and domain experts. There are two versions of the GEGVL so far, for STAAR and General. The GEGVL-STAAR is for middle school science teachers in the Texas area. The GEGVL (General) is mostly for 2YC, 4YU, and above. We will continue updating the GEGVL and upload them to this webpage. Please feel free to contact us if you are interested in developing GEGVL or you want to become a video provider. It can be animations, simulations and any other visual format! Thanks!

Getting Started
This is an example of how you may give instructions on setting up your project locally. To get a local copy up and running follow these simple example steps.
Prerequisites
This is an example of how to list things you need to use the software and how to install them.
- npm
npm install [email protected] -g
Installation
- Get a free API Key at No API Key yet
- Clone the GEGVL repo
git clone https://github.com/Ning-utdgss/GEGVL-source.git
- Install GEGVL packages
npm install
- Enter your API in
config.js
const API_KEY = 'ENTER YOUR API';
Usage
Although you can of course use the GEGVL directly, we do recommend you build up the GEGVL and make your own Google Earth Video Library for your teaching purposes and your students. Sometimes, providing too much information will interfere with learning. You can also create your own GEGVL versions, the way of adding videos to Google Earth is provided. (For the text and other format settings, you will need to learn and use some HTML language)
For more examples, please refer to the Documentation

Contributing
Contributions are what make the open source community such an amazing place to learn, inspire, and create. Any contributions you make are greatly appreciated.
If you have a suggestion that would make this better, please fork the repo and create a pull request. You can also simply open an issue with the tag "enhancement". Don't forget to give the project a star! Thanks again!
- Fork the Project
