1.1> as tall as

He is as tall as I am.
他像我一样高。

• He is tall. // he is very tall.
  He is as tall.
  He is as(一样) tall as(像) I am.
  他像我一样高。 // 注意中英文顺序；
  第一个as： 是副词；
  第二个as： 是连词；

• as tall 副词as 修饰形容词tall；

1.2> as young as

You look as young as you were ten years ago.
You look as young as ten years ago. // 省略句
你看起来跟十年前一样年轻。

• You look young.
• were 过去式；

1.3> as taugh and strong as

This car is taugh and strong。
this car is as taugh and strong as any other cars runnig on the street.
这辆车和街上的任何其他车一样牢固。

• run -> runnig 现在分词做形容词；

1.4> as nice as

He is a nice person.
The man is as nice as his father is.
The person is as nice as his father is.
He is as nice a person as his father is.
他跟他父亲一样是个好人。

• 最后的 is 可省略；

2> not as + 原级 + as, not so + 原级 + as ，！=

2.1> not as / so good as

The basketball player is not as good as you are.
The basketball player is not so good as you are.
He is not as good a basketball player as you are.
He is not as good a basketball player as you are.
他不是像你一样好的篮球员。

• a basketball player 可数名词，表现出单复数
• 修饰人
  good：好人； good boy， good driver；
  nice： 友善的； nice doctor 友善的医生；
  nice：漂亮的； nice girl，漂亮的女孩；

2.2> not as bad as

Things were not as bad as I had thought.
事情没有我原来想的那么糟。

• think - thought - thought

• through ： 【prep.】穿过；

• 分析时态，必须画时间轴；

• 过去完成时：
  在过去某一时间或动作前已经发生或完成的动作。

2.3> as many as

There are not as many trees around here as there were two years ago.
There are not as many trees around here as two years ago.(重复可省略)
这里不像2年前那么多树了。

• There are not many trees around here.
• There are not as 【many trees around here】 as two years ago.
• as as 中间不局限一个单词；

2.4> as fast as

We must run as fast as we can.
We must run as fast as it is possible.
We must run as fast as possible.
我们必须尽可能地跑快一点。

• as fast as we can, 能力有多快，就跑多快；
• fast: 指速度；
  soon：时间快； as soon as possible : 尽快；
  quick： 动作快， quick action，行动迅速；

as busy as a bee: 忙得团团转；

as bright as day : 亮如白昼；

as cool as a cucumber: 泰然自若；

as cold as ice : 寒冷如冰；

as light as feather: 轻如鸿毛；

as loud as thunder：声如雷鸣；

as proud as a peacock: 十分骄傲；

as quick as lightning: 快如闪电；

as firm as a rock： 坚如磐石；

as white as snow ： 洁白如雪；

• day 可数，天； 不可数，白天

多达五千只鸟儿在这里过冬。

I bought this sweater for as much as 250$.
我付了高达250美金买这件毛衣。

• as much money as， money 替换250$ , 钱的总称不可数，用much；
• pay… for sth
• buy st for …
• buy - bought - bought
• think - thought - thought
