AutoCAD - set color

AutoCAD Painted objects have certain colors , Graphics drawn for clear expression , You can draw the same kind of objects with the same color , Objects of different classes are drawn in different colors .

Mode of operation

Command line ： COLOR

menu bar ： Format → Color

Layers toolbar ： single click “ Object color ” In the drop-down list “ Choose a color ” Button

Operation steps

After performing the above operations, the pop-up as shown in the figure “ Choose a color ” Dialog box .

Option description

1.“ Index color ” tab

（1） Color index list box ： List at one time 255 Index colors , Users can select the desired color in this list box .

（2） Color text box ： The selected color code value is displayed in the color text box , You can also directly enter the code value in this text box to select the color .

（3）：ByLayer and ByBlock Button ： Click these two buttons , The colors are set by layer and block respectively . These two buttons can only be used after setting the layer color and block color .

2.“ True color ” tab

Click this tab , You can choose any color you want , As shown in the figure below . You can drag the color indicator cursor and the brightness slider in the palette to select the color and its brightness , It can also be done through “ tonal ”“ saturation ”“ brightness ” Adjust the button to select the desired color . Red of the selected color 、 green 、 The blue value is displayed in the color text box below , You can also directly enter red 、 green 、 Blue value to choose the color .

There is another one in this tab “ Color mode ” Drop down list box , The default color mode is “HSL” Pattern , That is, the mode shown in the above figure .RGB Mode is also a commonly used color mode , As shown in the figure below .

3.“ Color matching system ” tab

Click this tab , You can select predefined colors from the standard color book , As shown in the figure below . Select the desired system in the color book drop-down list box , Then drag the slider on the right to select a specific color , The selected color number is displayed in the color text box below , You can also enter a number value in the text box to select a color .
