Smart Microelectronics Releases Low-Power MM32L0130 Series MCU Products

[TechWeb] On August 2nd, Shanghai Smart Microelectronics Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Smart Microelectronics") released low-power MM32L0130 series MCU products. MM32L0130 is equipped with Arm Cortex-M0+ processor and integrates segment code LCD driver, the power consumption can be as low as 100nA, which is suitable for a variety of low-power application scenarios.
L0130 Series Features
1. Rich resource configuration
- Arm Cortex-M0+ core, operating frequency up to 48MHz
- Up to 64KB Flash, 8KB SRAM
- 3 UART interfaces (including 1 LPUART interface), 2 SPI interfaces, 2 I2S interfaces, 1 I2C interface
- Up to 40x4 or 36x8 segment LCD driver
- 1 infrared signal modulation module IRM, support ASK, PSK or FSK modulation
- 5-channel DMA
- 5 16-bit timers
- Hardware Calendar RTC
- 1x 12-bit SAR ADC with 15 external channels, conversion rate up to 1MSPS
- 1 low power comparator
- Operating voltage is 1.8V - 5.5V
- The supported temperature range is -40°C - 85°C
- Multiple power-saving working modes support the needs of low-power applications
- Available in LQFP64 and LQFP48 packages
2. Advanced LCD Controller
- It can be used in standby mode, the minimum power consumption is only 1.5uA
- Can drive up to 40x4 or 36x8 segments.Adjustable frame rate and contrast, optional segment code for flashing
- Any mapping of COM and SEG can be achieved through the internal remapping matrix, providing the option of LCD wiring on a single-layer PCB
- Built-in charge pump, can work under 1.8~5.5V.Clear LCD screen when MCU power supply voltage drops
- A variety of duty cycle and bias modes are available to adapt to various screens
3. Excellent low power performance
The L0130 product's excellent low-power mode provides the best balance between low power consumption, short startup time, and multiple wake-up events.The main modes are listed below for reference:
- Low power operation mode: CPU, all chip peripherals including CPU peripherals such as NVIC, SysTick, etc. run.Power consumption is only 270uA at 1MHz frequency; can run at up to 2MHz
- Sleep mode: CPU is stopped, all chip peripherals including CPU peripherals can still run.Operating power consumption at 57uA/MHz, up to 48MHz
- Deep shutdown mode: CPU and most peripheral clocks are stopped, while maintaining the contents of registers and RAM, providing the ability of LPUART to send and receive data, RTC calendar timing and LCD display.Lowest power consumption up to 400nA
- Standby Mode: All content except backup domain is lost, can support RTC calendar timing and LCD display.Lowest power consumption up to 300nA
- Shutdown mode: only POR, PMU part logic, NRST PIN and IO wakeup logic work normally.The lowest power consumption can reach 100nA, which can last 200 years from a single CR2032 battery!
L0130 Selection Guide and Purchase Channel
MM32L0130 is now available for sampling, with two optional packages, LQFP64 and QFP48, and the full range offers -40~85°C product models.Mainstream development and design tools and programmer manufacturers have also implemented support for the MM32L0130.
At the same time, the EVB-L0130 development board is also launched, which is equipped with the MM32L0136C7P chip, on-board segment code LCD screen and other peripheral modules for the evaluation of the MM32L0130 series of MCUs.
