Ideas, methods and steps of making folding fans with 3DMAX

Folding fan is our practice 3dmax Common exercises when basic commands , The key difficulty lies in the regular placement of folds into sectors . Here are two ideas ：

One 、 Apply wave command with plane

Here's the picture , With waves Wave After the command , There are wrinkles , And then use bend Bend command , You can get a relatively smooth folding fan main part at the corner .

Two 、 Use the top surface of the cylinder

1、 On the cylinder , Remove the excess surface , The top surface is left , Here's the picture ：

2、 Select the points of the outer circle respectively , Pull up a certain height at the outer circle point of interval selection , And then the same thing , Select inner circle points at intervals , Pull up the same height as the corresponding point of the outer ring
