TRACE - 32 Common Operations

After the TRACE32 software is opened and connected to the hardware environment, we can start trying to establish a connection with the chip and perform basic debugging operations.

**Step 1:**Confirm whether the target board is powered on

**Step 2:**Open the System Setting window

After opening the configuration window, in order, select the CPU first, and then click the Up operation.

If all goes well, the status in the lower right corner will change to System Ready

Due to the design of the reset circuit, *Some chips cannot be connected with Up*.

In this case, you can click Attach to connect the chip, and then click Break to control the chip Halt.

**Step 3:**After connecting

Click List to open the source code viewing window

Click Register to open the register viewing window

Click Memory Dump to open the memory view window

After entering the address or symbol table information, you can view the corresponding memory value.
