15.1  Road reflectors

Road reflectors are at night 、 Used for marking roads in heavy fog and other conditions . They are located on the roadside pillars 、 On guardrails and asphalt pavement , As an additional mark next to the line . stay " General settings -> lighting (Settings » Lighting)" Set in " Use reflective materials to find textures ('Use Reflective Material LookupTexture)", It can make the road reflector reflect back .

PreScan Support traffic signs as reflectors , The following settings are also supported .

Reflectors can be modeled as a series of mirrors , These mirrors are in 90 Degrees are connected . The reflector can be made of 3 Components . 

1. The direction of light , Hit on the mirror , Bounce back from one mirror to another ,.

2. The light hits only one mirror , It is reflected where the incident angle is the exit angle .

3. Part of the light is reflected by the reflector shell （ Dashed arrow ）.

According to the position of the light source and the position of the eyes , The reflector will return light to the observer . If the position of the eye is roughly the same as that of the light source （ This is generally the case with headlights ）, Then the returned light intensity will be the largest .</
