         install Oracle when , You can choose to install only on the local host Oracle Database software without installing Oracle Count

         Local network service , That is, by serving this machine Oracle The client is configured to access the remote Oracle database .

Local network service configuration steps

• Configure through visualization tools

1、 Find... On the start menu Net Configuration Assistant

 2、 Select local Net Service name configuration , Click next .

3、 Select Add , Click next .

 4、 Enter the service name , Click next .

         The service name is ： Of the remote host to be accessed Oracle Database name

 5、 choice TCP agreement , Click next .

 6、 Enter host name , Click next .

        The host name is ： Remote host IP

        Port number ： Remote host Oracle The port number of the database

 7、 Choose to test , Click next .

 8、 Click change to log in , Enter the user name and password , Click ok .

 9、 Test success , Click next .

 10、 Enter the network service name , Click next .

         Network service name ： arbitrarily

 11、 Choose not to configure , Click next .

12、 Configuration complete , Click next .

 13、 complete .

 14、 verification

         Run as administrator PL/SQL Developer Tools , Enter the following information , Click ok , You can access Oracle database .

         user name ：system

         password ：system password

         database ： Select the local network service name configured above

•   Configure through profile

1、 find Oracle Under the installation directory of tnsnames.ora file

        Such as ：D:\Oracle\product\12.2.0\dbhome_1\network\admin\tnsnames.ora

2、 Open this file in Notepad , Find the local network service name configured above , Copy and make it again

 3、 verification

        such PL/SQL Developer The database drop-down list of the tool will display the service name configured above

notes ： Use other connection tools （A5M2） When connecting to a remote database , The above configuration is not required .
