How to divide the disks under the devices and drives in win10 new computer

A single disk is not very good , You need to divide it

1、 Right click on the desktop “ This computer ”, In the open menu item , Selective management

2、 In the computer management window , Click disk management under storage on the left

3、 Found on the right C,D Dish up ,C Plate and D Just select one of the disks , I choose D disc , Then right click , In the open menu item , Choose compressed volume



5、 After compression , A black box will appear in the interface , Which shows 30G Multiple unassigned disks

6、 Right click the unassigned disk in the black area , In the open menu item , Select new simple volume

7、 New simple volume wizard , Set according to the prompt , Click on “ next step ”, Finally, click “ complete ”





8、 After creating the partition , The black unassigned disk will turn blue

9、 Re enter this computer , You can see under the device and drive , A new partition appears
