ArcMap map map projection related operations

1. Define projection （Define Projection)

Tool path ：ArcToolBox-Data Management Tools-Projections and Ttansformations-Define Projection

purpose ： Define projection information for data with unknown coordinate system

2. Projection tool （Project)

Tool path ：ArcToolBox-Data Management Tools-Projections and Ttansformations-Project

purpose ： Projection conversion of vector data .

3.ArcMap Dynamic projection of （on tne fiy)

principle ： By default, the coordinate system used by the first added data , When the later added data is inconsistent with its coordinate system , Will perform projection conversion （ This transition is temporary , Its actual value has not changed ）.

4. Grid projection （Raster Project)

Tool path ：ArcToolBox-Data Management Tools-Projections and Ttansformations-Raster-Raster Project

purpose ： Projection conversion of grid data .

5. Create a new projection coordinate system

Tool location ： Right click Layers, Click properties , choice Coordinate System, Click again Add Coordinate System, choice new, You can create a new coordinate system .
