UV Cleavable Biotin-PEG2-Azide Reagent Reaction Principle:
UV Cleavable Biotin-PEG2-Azide is a PROTAC linker belonging to the PEG class.Can be used to synthesize PROTAC molecules.UV Cleavable Biotin-PEG2-Azide is a biotin linker.The azide group can react with the alkyne moiety in Cu(I)-catalyzed Click Chemistry reactions or the DBCO moiety in copper-free Click Chemistry reactions to form stable triazole bonds.Hydrophilic PEG spacers increase the solubility of molecules conjugated to biotin compounds in aqueous media.Captured targets can be released under mild photolysis conditions (365 nm) and the background signal is significantly reduced due to non-specifically bound proteins.
