非谓语使用使用规则

1. 不定式to do，用来表示将来和目的
2. 补充笔记：

当物体作主语的时候，一般用ing

当人作主语的时候，一般用ed

举例：这部电影非常感人，this movie is more than touching

      许多学生很感动， many students are more than touched

1. 核心非谓语动词

3.1  不定式作主语（将来or目的）

（一句话里面有两个谓语，需要将其中一个动词改为主语）

To learn a foreign languageis not easy

3.2 动名词作主语（常态or状态）

   Playing online gamesencourages laziness

    核心： lazy adj：懒的 -laziness n 懒惰

           Encourages v 支持 鼓励 导致

   3.3 不定式作后置定语（ability 能力/capacity 能力/decision 决定/plan 计划 /courage 勇气）

    The ability to guard customer data is very important

核心：safeguard  v 保护 n 舒服假

       Guard      v 保护 n 门卫

       Data       n 数据 n 资料

Without the ability to think critically，they cannot fully participate in our democracy.

如果没有批判性思考的能力，他们就无法充分参与到我们明主之中。

核心：critical：adj.批判的；关键的；

       Participate v 参与；参加

       Democracy n.民主

3.4 不定式作目的状语

（1）they’re working hard to fulfill(v.完成 履行) the plan

努力工作，是更好的完成计划

     (2) To encourage innovation  and competition, the report  calls for（呼吁要求） increased investments in research

    为了鼓励创新和竞争，这份报告增加对研究领域的投资。

   3.5 现在分词作后置定语（表主动+进行）

    （1）the man walking on the street is my colleague（同事）

    走在街上的这个男人是我的同事

    （2）the works doing an average job tend to come form rural areas

    做普通工作的工人往往来自农村区域

       核心：tend to do 往往作某事  rual adj 农村的  urban adj 城市的

             Average adj 平均的，普通的平庸的

            Average people 老百姓

    3.6 过去分词作后置定语（表被动+完成）

    （1）the book written by jack is popular in Japan

    （2）the license issued by the government forced us to obey these rules

        核心：license n 执照；许可证

              Issue  n 问题；议题  v 颁布

               Obey v.遵守  rule n.规则

              Force v 强迫 n 力量 （air force）

To be /become a good/an excellent doctor /physiccian is my dream

1. 培养积极的习惯是非常重要的

Forming positive habites is very important

1. 面对挑战的勇气很重要

The courage to face challengesmatters

1. 我们应该提升解决实际问题的能力

We should improve /sharpen the ability to solve practical probleems

1. 为了丰富学生的课余活动，我们将于下个月举办一场校园歌手比赛

In order to enrich students’ after-class activities(extracurricular)，we will hold a campus singing contest next month

1. 那位再房间唱歌的女孩是我的女儿

The girl singing the room is my daughter

1. 这三位在发展中国家工作的专家发表了一篇重要的论文。Expert/publish/paper

These three experts（working the developing countries） published an important paper

1. 人工智能能带来的好处是显而易见的。

Artificial interlligence /benefit /obvious

The benefits（brought by artificial intelligence） are obvious

1. 这辆由德国生产的汽车非常昂贵。

Make /manufacture

The car/auto（made in Germany） is very expensive

1. 这篇于1995年发表的文章震惊了世界。Shock/startle

This paper/article（published in 1995） shocked the word

1. 面对许多选择，我们必须保持耐心

Facing many choices，we should keep patient（adj.有耐心的）

1. 由于受到了父母的影响，他立志成为一名科学家

Influenced by his parents，he makes up his mind to be a scientist

核心：make up one’s mind to do sth 下定决心做某事

1. 手机对我们的日常生活产生了积极的影响，使我们能方便地与朋友及家人交流

Mobile phones have a positive influence on（对…产生积极影响） our daily life，enabling us to communicate with our friends and family

1. 我们大学将于5月26日到6月3日为高中生举办一次夏令营

Our university will hold a summer camps for high school students from may 26 to June 3

   3.7 现在分词作状语（表主动）

   总结：现在分词作状语的常见形式

1. doing..，句子
2. 句子，doing…（伴随状语-结果状语）

      Hearing the news，I feel more than delighted（高兴）

       听到这个消息，我感觉到很高兴

       Writing for the newspaper，he expressed（v.表示） his concern over（对…担忧） this problem

       在为这家报刊写作时，它就表达了对这一问题的担忧

       In just one generation，millions of mothers have gone to work，transforming basic family economics.

    在仅仅一代人之中，数百万的妈妈们都外出工作，改变了基本家庭经济状况

3.8 过去分词作状语（表被动）

    Asked about her family，she made no answer

   当被问及她的家人时，她没有回答

    Encouraged by your story，I decided to pursue higher goals

受到你故事的鼓舞，我决定追求更高的目标
