MySQL installation (RPM package)

Mysql Database version ：5.7.16

1、 Check whether there are conflicting dependent packages

ps -ef |grep maridb  The uninstallation found is ok .

2、 Database installation sequence ：

 rpm -ivh mysql-community-libs-5.7.16-1.el7.x86_64 

 rpm -ivh mysql-community-common-5.7.16-1.el7.x86_64.rpm 
 rpm -ivh mysql-community-client-5.7.16-1.el7.x86_64.rpm 
 rpm -ivh mysql-community-server-5.7.16-1.el7.x86_64.rpm 
 

3、 Start database

systemctl start mysqld

4、 Check the initialization database password

cat /var/log/mysqld.log | grep password

5、 Before initializing the database password , First, you need to set the authentication strength level of the password

Input set value statement “ set global validate_password_policy=LOW; ” Set the value

The current password length is 8 , If you don't mind, you don't have to change it , In general terms , Set to 6 Bit code

Input set value statement “ set global validate_password_length=6; ” Set the value , 

6、 Initialize password

mysqladmin -uroot ' Initialize password ' passworkd ' New password '
