The difference between scalar, vector, matrix and tensor in deep learning

In deep learning , tensor （tensor） The dimension of is the order of the tensor .
0 Dimensional tensor It's scalar , It's just a single number ;
1 Dimensional tensor It's a vector , It's just a column of numbers ;
2 Dimensional tensor Is the matrix , Each of these elements is determined by two indexes instead of one ;
Greater than or equal to 3 Dimensional tensor There is no name , Unification is called tensor.

Be careful ： Distinguish between mathematics and machine learning .
In mathematics, the dimension of a vector represents the number of components in the vector .
such as [1,3] It's a 2 Dimension vector . But in machine learning [1,3] It's a 1 D tensor .
