Install PostgreSQL on Windows

1. Download URL

You can see that it is basically Windows64.

2. Install

You can install it after downloading:

Select the installation directory

Select the data storage directory.

Enter administrator password:

Open port: 5432

3. Install Stack Builder

The

Stack Builder requires internet access; if your PostgreSQL installation is behind a firewall (with restricted internet access), Stack Builder can download the program installer through a proxy server.The module provider determines whether the module can be accessed through an HTTP proxy or an FTP proxy.Currently, all updates are transferred through an HTTP proxy, and FTP proxy information is not used.

You need to install the service, or you can cancel it directly. Here is to choose another version of the service or software, you can not continue.

4. Use

Once installed, you can log in.
Win+S, then type pgAdmin:

Enter the password you just set:

Click, then enter your password.
