Linux Installation mysql5.7 (centos7.6) tutorial

1.  New folder /opt/mysql, and cd go in

cd  /opt/

mkdir mysql

cd mysql

2.  obtain Mysql Installation package ：

Download ahead of time , Put directly mysql In the folder

Installation package download address ：

https://dev.mysql.com/get/Downloads/MySQL-5.7/mysql-5.7.26-1.el7.x86_64.rpm-bundle.tar

3.  Unzip the installation package

tar -xvf mysql-5.7.26-1.el7.x86_64.rpm-bundle.tar

PS：centos7.6 Own class mysql The database is mariadb, Will follow mysql Conflict , Delete first. .

4.  function tar -xvf mysql-5.7.26-1.el7.x86_64.rpm-bundle.tar

5.  function rpm -qa|grep mari, Inquire about mariadb Related installation package

6.  function rpm -e --nodeps mariadb-libs, uninstall

7.  Then start the real installation mysql, Run the following in sequence

rpm -ivh mysql-community-common-5.7.26-1.el7.x86_64.rpm

rpm -ivh mysql-community-libs-5.7.26-1.el7.x86_64.rpm

rpm -ivh mysql-community-client-5.7.26-1.el7.x86_64.rpm

rpm -ivh mysql-community-server-5.7.26-1.el7.x86_64.rpm

8.  function systemctl start mysqld.service, start-up mysql

9.  Then set up root User password

Mysql Automatic feed root Users set random passwords , function grep "password" /var/log/mysqld.log You can see the current password

 

10.  function mysql -u root  -p, use root The user login , When prompted for a password, you can use the above , You can successfully log in to mysql Command line

11.  Set up root password , For personal development environment , If you want to set a simpler password （ Complex password should be set for production environment server ）, Can run

set global validate_password_policy=0;  (0 Delegate can set weak password )

（validate_password_policy The default value is 1）

 

12. set password for 'root'@'localhost' =password(' Enter the password you want to set here ');

13.  function flush privileges  Make password settings effective
