SysBench Benchmark Tool

Sysbench is a popular open source benchmark to test open source DBMSs.

Step1. install

visit https://github.com/akopytov/sysbench, Refer to the installation commands of different platforms ,

such as ,RHEL/CentOS:

curl -s https://packagecloud.io/install/repositories/akopytov/sysbench/script.rpm.sh | sudo bash
sudo yum -y install sysbench

Confirm the installation result ,

sysbench --version

Output ：

sysbench 1.0.20

Step2. Benchmarking MySQL:

1. Create an oltp_read_write test table in the test database with 1,000,000 rows:

sysbench oltp_read_write --table_size=1000000 --mysql-db=testdb --mysql-host=localhost --mysql-port=3306 --mysql-user=root --mysql-password=oracle prepare
