1、Time Evaluation Essentials

SAP HR Time data includes ：

• Daily working hours
• Absence from duty （ Annual leave , sick leave , Long term service leave ）
• Time related payments （ Overtime pay , Meal allowance , Shift allowance, etc ）

• Absence quota compensation for unused absence quota balances

Time type

• Time data （ Attendance or absence ） Use the time type to store .
• Time types are stored in HR In master data , Or created by the time evaluation program during the time evaluation . They assigned a 4 A code .
• for example ： Time related payments = The time type is 2000 to 2499, Absence from duty = The time type is 2500 to 2999

Time data recording

Absence category & Attendance

Absenteeism is divided into 2 class ：

1. Quota driven absenteeism
2. Non quota driven absences

Quota driven absenteeism Means within a set time limit （ For example, annual leave ） In the distribution of Restricted absence .

• Within the validity period , This can be performed against the payment balance deduction （ Negative values can be retained ）.

Time assessment deals with employee attendance and absenteeism , To ensure that they are paid accordingly .

• It assesses employees' actual working hours and absenteeism .
• It calculates time related payments .
• It updates the absence quota .
• It generates time wage types , These time wage types will be transferred to Salary Program .

Before executing salary plan , All employees need to be successfully handled through the time assessment plan , However, time assessment needs to be carried out for relevant employees . Some employee groups may not have time to evaluate requirements .
