Building circuits on glass

One 、 Production background

   Build a circuit on a piece of glass , It has special graceful characteristics .  I bought a set of slides today ,   Try to make a circuit on it .  First, use copper tape to stick a layer of copper foil on it .  Then the circuit is engraved by means of heat transfer printing .

   First test the narrowest lead allowed in this way . This is for testing PCB Design patterns .  Print it out in black and white .  Perform heat transfer .  This is the circuit after the transfer .   Zoom in on the line , This is a 15mil,25mil Two lines of .  After tinning , It can be used for later printing .

   Now we are replacing a new glass slide , The thickness is 1 mm .  The thickness used is 0.06mm With copper foil tape .  This is the glass slide after pasting .  The test circuit is also transferred to the surface of copper foil by heat transfer .  The final circuit is obtained by etching .
  
   The enlarged images of each wire diameter are shown below .  These are the two thinnest test wire diameters , On the left is 10mil Wire diameter , On the right is 15mil Wire diameter of .  This is a 100mil Test wire diameter . You can see that these wire diameters are very regular .  Coat the copper foil lead with tin ,】 In this way, the strength and conductivity of the wire are enhanced ,  It is also easy to weld components .

  

Four 、 Making circuit based on copper foil

   Here is the copper foil you bought .  Use strong glue to stick it on the glass substrate .  After pasting , Flatten the copper foil .  Wait for the glue to dry .  Use heat transfer to transfer the line onto copper foil .  At this time, the glue has completely solidified . But it's easy to uncover .  Therefore, using glue to fix the copper foil is not feasible .

   Here is a simple test circuit made of glass circuit technology .  This is a 555 Multivibrator circuit .  Form a corresponding PCB chart .  Print the circuit onto heat transfer paper .  Prepare a glass substrate copper clad laminate .  After heat transfer , Form a circuit .  This is the details of the circuit .  After corrosion , Tin the circuit ,  This process results in circuit stripping , This makes it impossible to carry out experiments later .
