Oculus quest2 development: (I) basic environment construction and guide package

First we need to know ,Oculus Quest2 Our operating system is a customized Android system , So we need to export the Android system package , stay UnityHub install unity version , You can choose a newer version , Also check Android Development SDK Package options , I use it here unity The version is Unity2021.3.7f1c1, As shown in the figure below

Create a new project , Here I will use the general rendering pipeline , The rendering pipeline supports moving VR End

Open the project , stay unity On top of Window》Package Manager in , Search for XR Interaction Toolkit、XR Plugin Management、OpenXR Plugin Three bags , Installation . If the search does not show , You can open the pre test package option , Click on the pinion ,Advanced Project Settings


After completing the above steps , Remember to switch some export platforms , Switch to Android, At the same time, modify the image compression format

Click again Project Setting, find XR Plug-in Managerment, Check Oculus Options , Wait for loading

stay Project Setting Inside , Click on Player, Change project name , Set the Android version , At least 23

Create a new one XR Rig And the ground


Connected to the Oculus Quest2, stay Build Setting Find the equipment inside , Click on Build And Run, Wait for the program to import .
