Huang Shuquan said that with the deep integration of 5G MEC edge cloud industry, under the organization of Shanghai Open Source Information Technology Association, Kyushu Cloud, Southeast University, Nankai University and enterprise representatives jointly launched the OpenV2X open source project of deep integration of 5G MEC and V2X.The project is based on the open source approach, through the combination of 5G, AI, MEC and other technologies, to create an open source and open platform for the infrastructure of roadside massive information collection, intelligent integration, source code development, ecological compatibility, and excellent performance, to solve the current 5G MEC in vehicle-road collaboration.The problems encountered by the roadside system in the Cooperative Vehicle Infrastructure System (CVIS) include "not diverse ecology", "not open platform", "5G is not linked", and "algorithm is not decoupled", which will lead to the development of vehicle-road coordination technology.There are more possibilities to boost the booming development of the Internet of Vehicles industry.
