The new syllabus is changed as follows:

1. The inspection dimension has changed from 5 (5 major process groups of project management: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closing) to 3 (people, process, business environment)

2. The focus has changed from focusing on doing things to focusing more on people and teams; the project manager's soft skills are more demanding, matching the PM capability model triangle.

The new version of the syllabus is not a subversion of the old version, but it is updated and iterated on the basis of the old version, making the knowledge system more complete and advanced, and closer to the actual needs of current project management and real project trends.

The new version of the PMP exam syllabus is a new structure that is more flexible, agile, and more practical.Combined with the complaints and analysis of friends who took the test on June 25, the proportion of agile is larger than expected, and the proportion of agile questions has increased by at least 50%.

The new version of the PMP exam has changed from life cycle project management methodology to both predictive and agile exams, incorporating nearly half of agile project management practices.The Agile Manifesto, Principles and Methodologies also became a must.

Therefore, we need to focus on reviewing the content of agile management when preparing for the exam. The agile knowledge points in the new exam syllabus are a major focus.

Compared with what we know, the seventh edition of PMBOK has changed a lot.
