ArcGIS: two methods of attribute fusion of the same field of vector elements

stay ArcGIS in , The merging of vector elements can be roughly divided into two kinds , One is to merge according to the same value of a certain field , The other is to manually select and merge elements .

1. Merge according to the same field value

If the same value of a field represents the same element , In a merger , You can choose to fuse according to a certain field , Select geo processing –> The fusion , In the pop-up dialog , Select the feature and output path to be fused and the field on which the fusion is based , Click OK to get the fused result .

This will fuse the attributes with the same name in the selected field .

2. Manually select feature merge

If there are fewer elements or no fields with the same value, they can be fused , You can customize the merged elements , Merge through the vector feature editor , Right click the layer you want to edit to edit the feature （E）, Then select the field to be fused , Then click merge in the editor （G）…, You can merge elements , After all operations are completed, click Save edit （S）.
