Basic command of IP address configuration ---ip V4

1. Enter the interface view

#interface-type interface-number： Specify the interface type and interface number . You can enter a space between the interface type and the interface number, or you can not enter a space .
# for example ：int g 0/0/0
[Huawei] interface interface-type interface-number

2. Configuration interface IP Address

# Translation is to add IP  Address   example ：IP address 192.168.0.1 24
[Huawei-GigabitEthernet0/0/1] ip address ip-address { mask | mask-length }

In the interface view , Use this command to configure the interface on the network device IP Address , Realize the interconnection of the network .

• ip-address： Specifies the interface IP Address , Dotted decimal form .

• mask： Specify the subnet mask , Dotted decimal form .

• mask-length： Specify mask length , Integer form , The value range is 0～32.
