Android Studio from 3.0（preview） The version starts with a built-in installation Kotlin plug-in unit .

open Settings ( Mac by Preferences) panel , Find... On the right Plugins Options ( Shortcut key Ctrl+, Mac for command+), Search box input “Kotlin” lookup , Click on Search in repositories( Search in warehouse ), Then install , Reboot required after installation Android Studio.

Create a new project

choice Start a new Android Studio project perhaps File | New project, Most options have default values , Just press a few times " enter " Press the key .

Android Studio 3.0 Enable... Is provided in the current dialog box Kotlin Supported options , You can skip after checking " To configure Kotlin engineering （Configuring Kotlin in the project）" Steps for .

choice Android edition

Select the... You want to create Activity style :

stay Android Studio 3.0 in , You can choose to use Kotlin establish activity, So there's no need to " take Java Code conversion to Kotlin（Converting Java code to Kotlin）" This step .

In earlier versions, we will use Java establish activity, Then use the automatic conversion tool convert .
