Xshell connection server changes key login to password login

Premise :

Tencent cloud server reinstalled the new system , from windows become CentOS 7.6 In the use of xshell When logging in, I found that the password login became the key login .

 

  terms of settlement :

First log in to Tencent cloud and find your own cloud server Generally, there are direct password free login or password login ( The same goes for Alibaba cloud )

 

After using password free login , Let's modify the login verification method in the system configuration file

modify SSH To configure

1. First, log in to the server .
2. Execute the following command , open  sshd_config  The configuration file .

   sudo vi /etc/ssh/sshd_config 

3. Press  i  Switch to edit mode , find  #Authentication, take  PasswordAuthentication  Parameter is modified as yes. As shown in the figure below ：

   explain ： if  sshd_config  There is no such configuration item in the configuration file , Then add  PasswordAuthentication yes  Item can .

4. Execute the following command , restart ssh service . This article takes CentOS 7 For example , Please execute the command according to your actual operating system .

   sudo systemctl restart sshd

   After restart , You can try to login with a password .
